Position: 1994-2004 Chief of Programming Department, 2004-2006 Director of Department of Development

Co-founder and CTO with more than 30 direct subordinates. Main responsibilities were project management, analysis, design, research and development of a document processing system, which includes modules for document storage, document indexing/searching, automatic document clustering, formatting and text structure analysis. The system was ported to many hardware and software environments and is used in the popular Russian legal information system "Kodeks" (more then 25 000 users), document management system for government of St. Petersburg and in a number of other systems.

In addition, led teams that developed such projects as: the Digital Corporate Library for the Gazprom Corporation (1999); the Document Processing System for the Government of St. Petersburg (2000-2001); the Legal Information System for the Scientific Center of Russian Ministry of Justice (2002-2003); the digital Encyclopedia of Occupation Health and Safety for the International Labor Organization (2005); the Legal Information system for Russian State Parliament (2006); as well as many others.

Took part in a number of offshore software development projects for US market. Projects included porting games from Mac to Windows and vice-versa, development of a custom TCP-IP protocol for Windows. Main responsibilities were code development, management of development teams (up to 3 people), contacts with overseas managers and customers.

1. Developed a number of accounting and bookkeeping systems.

2. Developed Realtor Support System based on an original high-performance DBMS. Originally developed on PDP-11 and then ported to MS-DOS. It supported parallel work of up to 10 operators on one IBM XT computer using remote terminals.

V. Development of Signal Processing Software for a Space-based Radar System.

Developed signal processing and visualization software for custom hardware of a military project. Studied algorithms of signal processing for synthetic aperture radar. System received an award at the Exhibition of Soviet Achievement in Moscow in 1990.

Medal of honor “300-year anniversary of St. Petersburg” awarded on behalf of the President of Russia on June 6, 2005 for role in development and support of computer information systems for St. Petersburg City government.
